"Hah, check this one out, Junior! Your old man's still got it!"
Senior, aka Samuel Callaghan is a presumed 50-or-so-year-old Bounty Hunter who decided that the DTT would be his supposed big catch during the hunt. Senior is the father of Junior, and was the previous husband of Jessica Patel. Plus he is the one responsible for the RV and hunting gear, and he takes pride in it. Senior does not enjoy when the RV is destroyed, which carries all his hunting gear and everything in it.
Along with the such, Senior is a bounty hunter responsible for disappearances in the forest, which is according to Vanessa, unmapped territory.
Senior had caught sight of the DTT crew, and decided they would be his next "catch" and supposed trophy as evident in his dialogue shown below.
"C'mon, Papa needs something for the trophy room!" + "How's this for catch of the day?!"
His encyclopedia description says that he "hunts the unhuntable", and due to being a bounty hunter, the encyclopedia could definitely be referring to hunting the DTT contractors.
"Husband of the late Jessica Patel. A master of hunting in forest landscapes, he prides himself over his ability to "hunt the unhuntable". Upon the passing of his wife, he found himself with a challenge he hadn't been trained for: bonding with a son he's never been able to connect with."
Between both Senior and Junior, Senior is the only one with weapon dialogue. He only has dialogue on his Harpoon Cannon, Harpoon Gun, and Shock Bomb according to the wiki. He also has a custom losing animation where if you get to the end before you defeat him and Junior, he will stomp his foot on the RV. This animation that I know of is re-used from the animation where he throws the raccoon at a player. Another one of these little animations is the end of the shooting to his revolver, where he spins it around at the end.

- Junior is his adopted son, not biological. Explains a lot of their personality and why they don't like each other much.
- Despite being the adoptive father of Junior, he still sees him as a real son and treats him well. He's not a bad father by any means and is trying to make his son proud of himself.
